Origin:   It's obtained by steam distillation from the plant species of Lavender, e.g. Lavandula angustifolia or Lavandula hybrid.

Odor:    Sweet, floral-herbaceous

Relative Density at 20^oC:  0.873 ~ 0.895

Refractive   Index at 20^oC:  1.4570 ~ 1.4670

Optical   Rotation at 20^oC:   –3^o ~ –15^o   

GC:

Linalool:  20% ~ 43%

Linalyl   acetate:  25% ~ 47%

Lavandulyl   acetate: 8% max.
