Origin: It's obtained by steam distillation from the   leaves of species  of Cymbopogon (Java   type).

Appearance: Clear colorless to pale yellow liquid

Odor: Fresh lemony grassy

Refractive index (20^oC):  1.463  to 1.475

Specific gravity (20^oC):   0.880  to 0.900

Content of Citronellal:   35% min.

Content of Geraniol:    19% to 22%
